Talk Casacor Rio – Infinito Particular environment
The Infinito Particular environment, designed by architects Izabela Lessa and Fernanda Zanetta for CasaCor Rio 2024, was the setting for an exclusive event organised by Ornare. Led by Ana Paula Iespa, from Prosperar, the meeting brought together big names from the artistic and architectural world, including the space’s art curator, HeloÃsa Amaral Peixoto, the architects themselves and artists such as Anna Helena Cazzani, Claudia Kayat, among other professionals present.
The aim of the event was to learn about the creative process of the architects, who were inspired by the legacy of modernism, with an emphasis on the harmonious integration of architecture, furniture design and art. As HeloÃsa Amaral Peixoto emphasised, the proposal was one of balance, using pieces and objects that went beyond the conventional boundaries of art. The curators sought out pieces that would dialogue with the spirit of modernism. In this context, Ornare furniture played a fundamental role, offering a space that unites functionality and art in a unique way.
Design Week Campinas: Tribute to Lina Bo Bardi and the modernist legacy
As the master sponsor of Design Week Campinas, Ornare celebrated the centenary of the birth of the iconic architect and designer Lina Bo Bardi. Under the theme ‘Avant-garde and Culture’, the event promoted an in-depth reflection on the relevance of Lina’s legacy for contemporary Brazilian design. Amanda Ferber, CEO of Architecture Hunter, drew a parallel between Lina Bo Bardi’s work and Ornare’s current approach, emphasising the concept of timeless design that preserves the essence of modernism and adapts to the needs of contemporary reality. The debate reaffirmed the importance of Lina Bo Bardi’s legacy, highlighting her crucial contribution to the evolution of world design. Laura Wie, a professor of fashion history, former international model and TV presenter, also spoke on the subject of ‘Fashion and Design’.
