Art and Design as a transformative power of spaces
In syntony with the “Art All Around” project, Ornare promoted an exclusive talk at its flagship at Alameda Gabriel Monteiro da Silva, bringing together influential voices from the art and design scene.
Camila Yunes Guarita, art consultant and founder of KURA, and Amanda Sequin, journalist specializing in architecture and design were the special guests to conduct the talk. The meeting, attended by friends, architecture professionals, decorators, gallery owners and journalists, brought to light thought-provoking discussions about how art can expand our view of the world and challenge our perceptions.
Through powerful insights, Camila and Amanda explored the transformative role of art in our spaces, suggesting that art not only complements design but also connects us to something bigger, something lasting. By asking “What is art?” and “What is art for everyone?”, they invited us to reflect on how our personal experiences shape our interpretation of art and design, and how this interpretation can broaden our understanding of the world around us.
More than a discussion, the event was an invitation to get closer to the unknown, the strange, and discover the magic that happens when we allow ourselves to explore these abysses. In a world where humanity, coexistence, and harmony are constantly evolving, art and design emerge as powerful tools for transformation and understanding.
