The Milan flagship celebrated its first year of operation during Milan Design Week — a time when the city shines as a global epicenter of creativity and innovation. To mark the occasion, the brand presented a program reflecting the intersection between art and design as catalysts for creative expression in its many forms.

With the second edition of the Art All Around project and a brand-new immersive installation, the Milanese showroom welcomed guests: design and architecture professionals, specialized press, and opinion leaders who helped enhance the inspiring atmosphere of the week.

Throughout the week, the space hosted meetings with prominent local and international media outlets, including Casa Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Casa e Jardim, Elle Decor, Fosbury Architecture, Corriere della Sera, Women’s Wear Daily, Interni, among others.

Vernissage — Art All Around II Edition

The showroom hosted an exclusive cocktail event marking the launch of the new phase of the Art All Around project. Curated by Marina Conde, the exhibition transformed the space into a sensory experience where art and design exist in harmony.

Among the works presented, highlights included pieces selected by Galleria Fumagalli Milano, featuring Italian artists such as Luca Boffi, Mattia Bosco, Thorsten Brinkmann, Anne and Patrick Poirier, and Maria Elisabetta Novello. In parallel, Brazilian visual artist Lara Matana unveiled the Prisma series — a diptych created by reinterpreting Ornare’s raw materials, in a poetic gesture of connection between matter and concept.

Nimbo Installation

In this edition of Milan Design Week, Ornare revealed the exclusive installation Nimbo, conceived by the Milan-based studio Parasite 2.0. The work offers a visual reflection on the relationship between light, time, and atmosphere through a composition that transforms throughout the day.

The installation appears as a circle of light suspended in space — a solar presence evoking the sun in its most symbolic essence. Light gently passes through a translucent fabric, creating visual effects that evoke the vastness of the sky. There is poetry in the way the material allows light to pass and in how time — through the variation of color and intensity — transforms the viewer’s perception.

Talk – Insights from MDW

This exclusive gathering was dedicated to the main trends and influences at Milan Design Week. The event featured special guest Thais Lauton, editorial director of Casa e Jardim magazine, who offered a critical reading of highlights from Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone, with a focus on materials, structures, and technologies indicating relevant changes in the industry. The conversation also covered key themes for the future of design: sustainability, customization, and the impact of technological innovation on creative processes.

1st Anniversary Ornare Milano Celebration

Crowning the week of celebrations, Ornare hosted a memorable evening at the sophisticated Portrait Milano, welcoming special guests including partners, architects, designers, and members of the press. The occasion honored the relationships that build the brand’s story. In an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, the pillars that uphold Ornare’s essence were reaffirmed: authenticity, excellence, and lasting bonds.
